Tekken 6 doesn't bring much in terms of new features but its gameplay will please its loyal fans.
Modes
Well there's not alot the vs mode shall keep fans happy for a while. They is training mode,survival mode,Online mode and Scenario mode.
Gameplay
Well the characters there's 42 more than any other this gen. The gameplay doesn't seem to have changed much if at all. You can break through the floor in some areas though. Also the Screnario mode is like a bad single player experience. It's basically like a 3D Streets of Rage. I would have much perferred the Tekken Dojo that was in Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection The Scenario Mode is where most of the trophies have to be acheived and you can see cut scenes as well but the mode lacks spark. I could even say its worse than the Subspace Emissary off Super Smash Bros Brawl. One good thing though the cut scenes look nice. Their is a character customisation but it doesn't add anything to the gameplay.
The vs mode if you have a few friends get them on it and you shall have a blast. The online is quiet poor because you can win by just mashing buttons and some matches are virtually unplayable at times. I do like the idea you can download peoples saved matches and view them. The ranked matches aren't to intresting but the player matches can be fun if you join a lobby with 3 other people. The question is if you shall get a good lag free match and sometimes it doesn't seem to run to smooth. Another thing I have to say is an annoyance is the loading screens. They are a constant pain. The vs mode is fun with friends but the basica gameplay just feels the same and doesn'r seem to have the same flow as other fighting games.
Graphics and Sound
To say this is a next gen game it certainly doesn't feel or look like it. The graphics look dated. The cut scenes do look nice but the actual character animations aren't the big next gen leap many expected. The sound is okay but not amazing.
Lastaibilty
The game is fun with friends and online so it should keep you busy for a while. If you want the trophies you shall play through the adventure mode but it is quiet boring single player adventure and thats not what fighters are about.
Overall Opinion
A game that doesn't seem to have made the big next gen leap. It feels quiet dated the graphics aren't that impressive the Campaign is quiet long and boring. The thing it has over its rivals is more fighters over 40. The vs mode and online seem to be the only real reason to own this game. The game feels so last gen and the lack of unlockables hurts it badly.
