Ah, it has arrived. Tekken 5. I don't know about you, but I was waiting forever for this game. And boy was I right to. The gameplay in this game is of the best fighter gameplay you will ever find. The bone-crunching, jaw-snapping sounds really make winning worth it. There is a large variety of characters, and many, many, things to go back and do after you've beaten it. Gameplay The gameplay, like I said earlier, is definitely the best, or almost best that any console has to offer. There are many different modes to go about in, like Devil Within, which is this arcadey action adventure game. It's like those fighting games for the ps1, like Fighting Force, except excellent graphics. There is a HUGE variety of moves for all the characters, mainly because of the HUGE amount of fighting styles there are. The fighting styles consist of ones you may know, like boxing, to things that are super crazy and executed real well, like Capoeria. Audio The audio is part of what makes the game play out so well. The sound effects are top notch, and produce a very satisfying sound after you've beaten someone. Each stage has a distinct music to it, which really adds to the gameplay. Menu sounds and what not are the same as other games, what are you going to expect. In the story mode, there are cutscenes every once in a while, which is a nice touch because each person talks in their native tongue(i.e. Jin talks in Japanese, Paul talks in English.) Graphics This game has the best graphics on the PS2. Ever. If someone were to show you this game, and you had never heard of it, you would definitely think it were an Xbox game. I don't know how they managed to pull the PS2 into these excellent graphics, but they did. Even in the cutscenes, you will drop your jaw in awe, because of the beauty. Overall Buy. This. Game. NOW.
