Beats Virtua Fighter 4 anyday

I rented Virtua Fighter to try it our. I was the worst spent $7 of my life. This game, however, is a different story. It just feels right. The music...the graphics....it was very well planned and balanced. The gameplay is good. I mean, it's your classic fighting game. It's a lot easier than games like mortal kombat, which totally depend on you knowing all the moves to be able to get anywhere. When in the middel of a fight, you can go to the pause menu and look up the combos for that particular character, then use them

The graphics are great, worthy of PS3's capabilities

As for the game overall, it is pretty simple. Beat all the guys and the game is over. Not very rewarding here, since all you do is get to do it all over again with another character. Load times are lghtning fast and you get to customize your character's outfits. COme of them are real hilariuous. This is a plain fun game. No story lines, no drama. Just turn the game on and start kicking butt. For the $20 cost, it's definitely worth it. IF this game had been a $60 retail copy I would have been upset, but for a quick passtime it does the job - much better than spending $60 on Virtua Fighter!

The only down side is the controls. YOu still pla with the directional pads, which is kind of stupid being made for the PS3. It makes you feel like you're still playing the original back in the 90's. Other than that and the fact that there is no online play, no other complains.
