The best downloadable game to hit the console market so far.
For the game at its own, I'll be short, if you played the PSP version to death and wanted to play this on your big TV screen, by all means buy this, but if you have the psp version and just played a few hours here and there, this game is not for you in the same way if you're wondering witch version to get if you cant decide between this one or the psp version. For a casual fighting game fan who want the best version of Tekken 5 DR, I suggest the psp version because this one have all the goodies that the ps3 version dont have like the endings for all characters, extra modes and a prety cool dojo mode. Here in the ps3 version, you just have the basic arcade mode without a story, and a ghost mode that can be compared like the arcade mode in the console version. You have also the vs match yp to play with a friend but thats it. So its clear that the game is for veteran fans of the series, who played Tekken 5 DR on the psp to death and just want to play it more on their ps3 and with friends.
Sure, they have some things to unlock, like the 3 news endings for the 3 new characters and a vast image gallery. You can also buy new costume and object for your favorite fighter also, so the game have a little value there for those like me who wants a good reason to play it all day.
In conclusion, Tekken 5 : Dark Resurrection is a superb game for a downloadable product and show a good promise for what the ps store can do with futur releases. But be careful, this game is for the veteran fans in the first place and new player can be disapointed with the lack of extra that the game offers so buy it with caution.
