Certainly not the best tekken, and unfortunately doesn't live up to the tekken standards. Good for any tekken fan.

This was pretty much the first PS2 game I bought (not gonna get too much into that). Its not a bad game, but I've played previous installments of the series and this game certainly doesn't live up to the standards of the franchise.
To start off there isn't too much content on the game. You get about 20 characters, and they're a little varied. You get a few modes of gameplay, but nothing you'll be coming back to unless you're a fan of the series or a fighting game fan. There are lots of absenses from the previous games.
Another thing to add is that the gameplay has been slightly tweaked to feel a little more realistic. Frankly I feel that this doesn't give the fast paced action like the other installments do.
One of the things I liked about the game are the presentation. It certainly is a great looking game, both technically and artistically. Also the game is really fun to play with friends, just like all fighting games are.
Overall its not too great, but its good. I'd say its a game you could rent and return it if you wanna check it out, but its not a bad bargain if you buy it either.
I certainly didn't regret it.
