Remember when licensed games were actually really good...?

Man does this game bring back memories-this was one of the first games I ever played-and its still a ton of fun ( if I can get my NES to work). Its a classic side-scrolling beat em' up: start here, fight boss, end there. But this game had something special to it. Maybe it was its co-op, which was awesome and one of the first games to have it. Or was it due to the entire Ninja Turtles craze in the late 80s? Or it could be because it was just so dang addicting! Either way this games a classic-try to find it in your neighbors yard-sale-its awesome.
