It feels like a Turtle game but doesn't feel like Turtles in Time.

I was really excited when I first heard what they were doing with Turtles in Time and DL'ed it as soon as it came out but I've got to say I'm a bit disappointed... but I'll break down on what I think was done right first.

- 4 player online/local
- Fun gameplay
- Although I don't particularly like how the Turtles have been portrayed in the last couple years the character design changes weren't half bad
- Much of the level design/layout was spot on compared to the original
- Graphic improvements were a nice addition

The bad...

- THE SOUNDTRACK! Seriously, it was reported it would feature the original sound track, but instead features noise that doesn't even resemble the original soundtrack
- The bosses are based off the arcade port which may not be bad news to some but most would agree the SNES port had a better collection of bosses
- Although good, many changes to some of the levels (mainly level 3) just don't feel remotely similar to the original and are in fact are painful to play (MAINLY level 3)
- The 4 player play can get a little too chaotic and stupid at times

In conclusion the games definitely worth 10 bucks but failed to give me the nerdgasm I thought I'd have. Its worth checking out and it definitely brings back the good ol' beat 'em up days of the 90s. Oh and... if you've got the time and care at all.... just download the Turtles in Time OST and play it during the game... makes the experience x2 better.

Edit: After another couple more hours of play I had to come back and reconsider my previous rating of a 7.5 and I'll bump it up to an 8. Have fun with it guys. :D
