#1 NES TMNT Game

This game came out pretty late in the NES life cycle and did not get the same appreciation as TMNT 2 The Arcade Game. This is an injustice because this game beats TMNT 2 every way possible. (Don't get me wrong TMNT 2 is awesome as well). The music, the scenery in the stages, graphics, variety of enemies and bosses all trump TMNT 2. The addition of a flip technique for a one hit kill on foot soldiers is a great addition. Also the turtles finally all have a signature special move, this helps to individualize them more. This move takes life away when you use it until you only have one bar and then you can cheese it until you die "fun baby". The greatest thing about this game for me might be the last couple stages. You fight and beat Shredder thinking the game is over but know. You get another 20 mins of total action leading up to a rematch vs. Super Shredder. As a kid going through that I was floored, I thought it was a great game after beating Shredder the first time, the added action put this one over the top. This game is an absolute classic and should be in everyone's NES collection.
