TMNT II provides a gameplay style followed upon in two other games, The Manhattan Project & TMNT: Turtles In Time (SNES)

User Rating: 9.3 | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game NES
Playing as one of the original TV series and film's four main character's; Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo, or Donatello, you are given the opportunity to play as a different character after the loss of every life.

In their efforts to rescue their shapely journalist friend April O'Neil, the ooze-spawned turtles fight their way through the Foot Clan, as well as the other evil characters we've come to know through the popular television series, in a variety of different levels, dodging shurikens, escaping boulders, and destroying Shredder's evil clansmen one at a time.

There are 3 Modes, 1P Mode, 2P Mode A, and 2P Mode B, "friendly fire" turned on or off respectively.

If you decide to play TMNT II: The Arcade Game on Two-Player mode, you won't be disappointed.
The cooperative beat-'em-up action is highly addictive, alongside other great Nintendo titles; River City Ransom, Double Dragon I-III, and Mighty Final Fight for starters.

I would recommend seeking this game at your local classic-game retailer, or through an online auction website, if you're a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

Also keep an eye out for TMNT: The Manhattan Project on the NES, and TMNT: Turtles In Time on the SNES; the absolute best that the TMNT series has to offer.

Blessed Be
