Plain miserable and pitiful...

I bought this game with great expectations, but it was only an hour later that I realized my hard-earned cash was flushed down the toilet bowl. The graphics in this game can well pass, though it's cartoonish in a way; but the story line fails miserably. Pick up bits and pieces of different stories here and there and they make it a game. You gain assess to different stories via a small map that sort of reminds me of Monopoly games. In order to assess a new story, you will have to beat an antecedant story 1st. The stories have very little relevance between them, and this is what makes the entire game confusing and perhaps upsetting. Controls are extremely sluggish and the mid air attacks of the turtles does not hit the desired target in 90 percent of the cases. Some missions are awfully simple which would fit for a kid's game, but we are talking of adult gamers who would like to look back at the old times that we once enjoyed. You can unlock some characters as you progress in the game, but it adds little fun to the game. Players have the option of controlling up to 4 turtles and you change to the desired character on-the-fly. The shuriken attacks are frustrating as there is no targeting system available. The traps that you encounter in the game are not meant to pose a challenge, but to dampen your spirits of gaming as you die over and over again just to jump past some silly giant axes which is of course a result of the sluggish turtle jumping. Stay away from this game.
