Good graphics, fun, good amount of content for a beat-em-up.

User Rating: 8 | Teen Titans GC
One of the few times I disagree with the editors, this game is a tad underrated. I believe most of the backgrounds are cell-shaded graphics, but all the characters are regular CG, which makes it look even better. The game has great graphics, and smooth controls for good gameplay and easy combo and special moves. I compare this game to X-men Legends because it has the co-op play where you can switch between characters at any moment, as well as allowing a friend to pick up the other controller and jump in at any time. Only Teen Titans allows you to play with 5 characters, instead of 4 on X-Men Legends. (However, the graphics, color, and spectacular special moves in this game blow X-Men Legends out the water) They both also have an extra "fighting" mode, that tries to come across as a traditional one-on-one fighting game, but still take place in the same backgrounds and style of the main story mode. This mode is fun to tinker with and try out each of the 36 available characters, but it's definitely not the meat and potatoes of the game. The best thing about this game is the variability, to switch between characters, learn their own unique combos and special moves, that also change and are upgraded as you progress through the game. This is your standard beat-em-up game, I originally got to play along with my kids. This is one of the funnest games of this genre I've ever played, and the depth and smooth gameplay keep it from becoming boringly repetitive. Obviously, this game is not for the serious epic RPG gamer looking for a lengthy strategy based epic story line game, but for the cheap price of $19.99, this game is well worth it if you're looking for a fun beat-em-upper. God bless
