I bought this game specifically to play with my daughter. We put it on with all intentions of spending a day as some of our favorite cartoon characters. By the second level, we were already thinking it was a chore to get through. Not that it was hard. It just didn't take long to see that it is a simple button masher. That is it's major flaw. The graphics are fine. The colors are vibrant and The characters look better than they ever have on our little picture boxes. The special effects and sound seem to be okay. It's just that gameplay. The same thing over and over again. In between levels you are given different moves to pull of , but I will be darned if one makes a difference over the other. Also since you can regenerate immediately after being killed there is no tension to the game. The story isn't exactly top notch, but in side scrollers it never is. There is a cute twist at the end however. At most I would have to say rent it or buy it very cheap.
