This game of team fortress easily replaces the old team fortress for Quake. With new character models, better lighting, the half-life engine, newer versions of maps, etc, Team fortress 1.5 (classic) is a big improvement over Team fortress. Old TF fans will by able to see some inaccuracies with the translation to the new engine, but team fortress nonetheless, has taken a giant step foward. They added New classes to choose from, and different mission maps (hunted, capture the flag(s), Etc.) This game is highly addictive, and has been described by some as good as a powerfull.... narcotic..... Anyways... This game is still one of the most popular shooters today and damn straight, It's Team fortress.
