******HOOPSTAR789's Review on Team Fortress Classic*****
1. GRAPHICS- This game is the first mod for the Half life 1 engine and I will tell you this game looks everybit the same Half life 1. The Charcter models look great but no Improvemnt at all from Half life 1. To be honest the fire effects look kind of lame. and the Water has been decreased from the half life engine but hey, graphics don't make a game. overall the graphics are the same as Half Life 1 which is a good thing because Half life 1 looked great for 98, and games didn't look like Half Life until around 2001.
2. GAMEPLAY- The gameplay for this game is really, really, really unique. This is the game that started the class based system. Wheter your playing as a Demoman, or a Pyro, or even a Spy, this game runs perfectly for each class and feels like you are really a Spy, or a Pyro, or even a Sniper. The controlls are the average FPS controlls. So if you need to adjust feel free to and there you go. The gameplay couldn't be any better.
3. MULTIPLAYER- If there was a game that could be rated good just because the game is just straight up Online, this is the game. The Online for this game is truley fantastic, You really need your team to win. The Multiplayer is 16v16 and the goal is to capture the other teams flag and bring it back to your base to earn a point, the team with the highest points at the end of the round will be the Victor. Now the trick to the Multiplayer is that there must be differnt classes on each team, for example, if you have a team full of snipers and the other team is mixed with differnt classes, the mixed team will win because they have a strong defense and offense while the Sniping team has a strong long distance defesne but no offesne or short range or medum range defesne at all. The game's multiplayer will suck many of your wakeing hours up and before you know it, It will be 3 in the morning and you felt like it was only 5 minutes. Yeah, the game is that fun.
4. OVERALL- Overall Team Fortress Classic is truley a classic, The classes, the teamwork, and just the game in general is enough to play. This game is truley almost flawless but the graphics could have been tweaked by a little like its Cousin mod Counter Strike. Another issue with the game is that due to the fact that the game is 11 years old now, the community has droped dramtically, dont get me wrong though, this game still has 1000's of player that still play but a good bit of servers are empty and when you join a server that has about 15 people, sometimes it will be just bots, but the game still has servers packed and people still play this historic game. The game is a definate buy for the incrdible cheap price for 5 dollars and is really addicting. Thats my review on Team Fortress CLassic.
