A very good run n' gun for the Genesis. From the creators of GleyLancer

Well... how do i start this? An excellent run n' gun? Yes. True classic? Of course. Bad game? Maybe. I'm going to tell EVERY GameSpot user the wonder that is Target Earth (Assault Suit Leynos in Japan). I don't remember if there's any story in the game, but it's the every day story of old-school games with space theme: the aliens (or robots) want to attack the earth and you play as the "good guy" and fight the aliens (or robots) and win the game. When you hear the word "run n' gun", you think of classics like Konami's Contra: Hard Corps, Sega's Ranger-X, Core Design's Skeleton Krew and the immortal classic, Gunstar Heroes (PLAY IT!). And this one is a classic, too. But you also think in craps like Accolade's Universal Soldier (basically a port of Turrican 2 but in a worst way) and Renovation's Final Zone. And this game is a little bit bad. The game is EXTREMELY hard, well, not so much. For me, the hardest part is that one in the 1st stage where you fight a ship. I couldn't pass it, until some day, i played it, goed to that part and i destroyed the stupid ship. The gameplay is good, but bad. The aiming is VERY BAD! In the technical part it isn't so good, but, well, it's a 1990 Genesis game, don't expect technical wonders like in Comix Zone or other 1993-1995 games. The game has a lot of value. You need to play it. If you haven't played it, well, you missed out a BIG game. Check the good and the bad from the game.

THE GOOD:True classic, extremely addictive

THE BAD:Bad aiming, difficulty too hard, some bad stuff in technical part

The End
