A good game if you want to learn a variety of essential phrases in chinese, japanese, korean, or english.
I found it to be very helpful. More so the pronunciation game than anything else. The computer's pronunciation quite clear. I will say that MAX is very judmental on any dialects one might have when speaking the given language. And being a native english speaker from texas I even had trouble pleasing MAX with my pronunciation; I will also add my friend from Liverpool, England had the same problem.
Things I wish the game had included would only be an english pronunciation guide for the dialouge. I already knew many of the chinese characters which helped me read the phrases rather than listen. Overall I feel this game is fun, interesting, and worth buying if you are intrigued by learning a foriegn language or just feel like picking up a few phrases to impress your friend's.
