despite its kiddish look, this is one of the most mature and developed game ive played on the 360, be of the rpgs so far

my initial reactions to this game was less than positive, i love rpg's and recently ive started jrpgs. games like infinite undiscovery star ocean and last remnant, all simly average games. the worst part is that i found myself muting those games out of sheer embarasment of the ridiculous dialogue and such. none of the above applies to vesperia
a long lasting and gripping tale that smoothly warps from a simple personal issue into a world crisis. the excellent and humorous cast and hate-able(and love-able) enemies make the game almost personable. you can easily get sucked into hours of playing, and has a bonus dungeon ad e game. the game has tons of replay value

the batle system dosen get old, ive come to learn real time strategies because turn basedlike lost odyssey gets old towards the latter haf of the game. i really enjoy using burst and mystic artes, which are these beautiful and powerful moves. watch them on youtube theyre great and automatically gives my approval. other ways you can develop your moves is from a typical levelling process and thru magical skills that can alter your artes (usually about 6)

its only setbacks is the lack of balance in the game, its too easy on the normal modes, so try to sick with the hard mode, also some characters are obviously superior to the others, i always use the same 4 characters and it shouldnt be that way, i force myself to use the others but they are ridiculous and cant fight
however these flaws are much smalller as u get in the flow of the game, which likei said can knock u off ur feet and hypnotize u

overall this is the only jrpg ive played that i cant really complain about, its lack of dorky/cheesyness was it its life saver, congratualtion tales serioer u have earned yourself another fan
