    Finally got this game, along with my first xbox. I follow the tales series no matter what console. I am a game fan boy not a console fan boy.

    the story is awful, characters are annoying..i don't know why people keep praising the story, it maybe better than some other JRPG, but still doesn't make it great

    thats cheap, over here in england the cheapest you can grab this in a shop or on ebay is a round 60-70 pounds which I think is over $100. Luckily they just added it onto Xbox live games on demand for 20. You should check that out

    I've owned this game for over a year now, and I've logged almost 80 hours into it. If you have any remote interest in this game, you need to get it.

    @keyboard-hero:

    Hell yeah it is... now teach me japanese because localization is taking forever. This issue accidentaly adds value to 360 platform.

    This is a great RPG. It reminds me a lot of Cronotrigger and earlier FF games. Pretty graphics, good story, fun combat, nice extras and interesting quests to conquer. It's definately worth your money. I have 60hrs on my first play through.

    So my 360 recently got stolen and now I have to play this game over, 1st time I got halfway through (stopped after Ghasfarost or that clock tower thing), now I really want to finish and after playing FFXIII it feels nice to be playing an RPG like this again, I feel like before I took ToV for granted.

    Will certainly rent this, been on the fence about this for two years, but I've been convinced

    I have never tried a JRPG but I am beginning to think I should. Looks like a truly beautiful, fantasy game. I think I will buy it when I have some cash to spend. He did a good job reviewing too.

    K-V ftw. Great review. I wouldn't mind picking this one up but I'm not even done with FF13. Somehow I think I'll be enjoying this one a lot more than FF13 though. I especially love the cel-shaded visual art style. A beauty to look at for sure!

    PS3 version isn't coming. Why are you all still hoping for that? It wasn't at E3 and bamco is pretty silly when it comes to not localizing it. Doesn't matter though. Just get it for the xbox.
