Tales of Legendia is such an underrated game! It has what most RPGs leave behind: heart and undeniable charm.
Like I said, I didn't like this game much at first. The combat system was fun in the beginning, but it just seemed mindless later on. All it really is is button mashing with the occasional combo here and there, and some of Senel's moves are completely pointless so I found myself only using like 2 combos the entire game.
On top of that, some of the bosses seemed WAY over powered, even when I leveled for who knows how long!
Senel was annoying, some of the characters who popped into the game later got on my nerves... but the further I progressed into the game the more I absolutely adored it.
The story is a tad generic, but it's told delicately and even the annoying characters (COUGH NORMA COUGH) grow on you after a while! It's easy to look past the combat system when you're faced with such an awesome cast. Every new person is brought in at just the right time.
The best feature of this game has to be the character quests; this game doesn't end after you complete the main quest, no siree! The bonus content after the main task almost seems like another game with how expansive it is, which is way awesome. I won't go into detail 'cause I'm allergic to spoilers, but you're definitely in for a treat once you 'complete' this game.

Tales of Legendia is a bomb in disguise. At first it seems boring, but if you just hold on for a little while you'll realize you're playing one of the best games on the market. I played it two years ago and I still think about it like... once a week!
