But What happen in Tales of Legendia???
Graphics 20/30
- Well for me I don't have a real complaint about the graphics of this game. Because I know that for a Tales games Graphics is not so really Important, because it is not there main attraction or the main reason to play them!!! BUT as they say: "If they can improve the graphics much better…"
Gameplay 35/50
- The gameplay in all Tales games )But more specifically the Battle System!!!) has been a large hook (well okay in Japan I guess) and the main reason to keep playing them!!! They are normally Unique, Intense, and most important of all is Very FUN to play!!! But in Tales of Legendia, well okay we can still say it was fun BUT not Intense and Very FUN to play. Because of this reason:
Skills and Magic are Dissapointing!!!
- My biggest complaint in Legendia is that, the character skills and magic's are not very impressive!!!I think it is really a BIG disappointment. Because if you compare the skills and magic of Tales of Destiny II (now called Tales of eternia) from legendia: Rising Phoenix, Burning Phoenix or Elemental Master or even Eternal Hammer take this… or compare the Indignation of Destiny II from the Indignation of Legendia you will really realize that the skills and magic in Legendia is a junk. And also because Legendia lack something like this: "Prepare yourself for the blinding storm Brilliant Overlord! Never fight a battle you can't win!!!" sometimes the battles in legendia are boring…
It is not Multi-player anymore!!!
There are no Cameo battle!!!
- Well the only good thing I can say about the gameplay of Legendia is that, the Titles now have an Effect or increase in Stats when you equipped them.
Story 15/20
-Probably the story of Legendia is one of the Best story in all tales games. My only complaint in the story of legendia is that, In the character quest there are no voice acting anymore!!! Without voice acting it is really hard to visualize, understand, and Imagine what really happening in the story. Worse case scenario is that, Without voice acting you will fell bored about the story of the game…
Over all 70/100 or 7.0/10
- Sad to say (In my own and honest opinion) Namco just wasted there Time and Money in making and Translating this game in English Version!!! Instead wasting there time and money in legendia, If Namco just Translate Tales of Destiny remake and Tales of Symphonia (PS2) in English Version not only namco will save a reasonably large amount of money but it will be also AMAZING!!!
- Bottom Line is: Tales of Legendia is really a BIG DISSAPOINTMENT in the Tales series!!!
