I just got this game today and I feel that it could have been better. I agree that the difficulty level seems to undermine an otherwise wonderful game.

However, I feel the voice acting and CGI make up for some of the downfalls. Compared to ToS, this game seems to not be living up to its hype, but give it time and I feel confident it will level out. Personally I love the Tales series for the storylines and length of games. Symphonia was just breathtaking and Legendia is living up to its predecessors in the Tales series.

Graphics and sound are amazing and give life to the world around you. Perhaps Namco tried to follow Symphonia too much, but overall I would recommend this game to anyone.
