Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams E3 2004 Preshow First Look
THQ is working on a follow-up to its successful kid-friendly platformer, Tak.
THQ and Avalanche Software are again collaborating on a new platform game. This year's release is the sequel to Tak and the Power of Juju. The new game, Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, picks up where the first game left off, and, like any good platformer, it adds some new things to the mix.
Tak's objective this time around is to confront the evil shaman Tlaloc to regain possession of the nightmare scepter. Tak is a bit more experienced this time around, so he'll be able to tap into an all-new potion system to help him create his own juju magic. His new abilities will allow you to possess animals, turning Tak into a spirit animal. The game will feature nine environments in all.
Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams is a 3D platformer on console systems and a 2D platformer on the Game Boy Advance. All versions of the game are scheduled to be released in October.
