This definitely isn't for everyone.

Alright, I have a ton to say about this game so I'm just gonna start. First off, yes I know one of the first screens says its "A time machine on the Nintendo" and all that, but believe me that was just poor editing on their part for letting something like that slip by. So no, this game isn't a time machine, nor is it a demon creator or a satanic factory like so many other people wanna believe. This game is basically a tarot reading simulated on the NES.

I know the majority of the country is borderline retarted when it comes to what the occult is compared to what everyone tries to convince them it is, but just try to hear me out. I've been into these things since I was a kid. This game does nothing more than ask a few basic questions about you, like name age and gender. Then it asks what you would like to know. After that it pretty much just runs like a normal torot reading. It shuffles cards on screen, and then it places them all out in the celtic cross formation (there are other positions the cards cant be put in for a reading but this is the one the game uses). After that it goes through the 10 cards and tells you what they all mean and from that you should be able to get a good idea of why that is significant to your question.

Alot of the reviews Ive seen always say crap about how this game is just a video ouija board and things like that. I can't really sit here and try to convince you to believe what I think, and the same goes for everyone else. This game relies heavily on the fact that you have previous knowledge of things such as this as I mentioned before. That definitely has to be the biggest issue this game has with the people playing it. The majority that find this, or still have it from 1988 aren't really aware of anything even remotely related to the occult. I'm just really sick of everyone giving this game such bad reviews and comments just because they have a problem with what the game says about itself.

I just think the actual game is more important than what it says. By saying the game is a time machine the developers really messed up. I think they were just trying to get across the fact that tarrot has been around since the beginning of recorded history and probably even longer. So I guess the main point of this review is, if your familiar with things liek this already its definitely worth a try if ya don't have to pay too much for it. For everyone else, just don't even bother, because your just gonna say the same generic stereotypes about it as everyone else like you.

The music was very interesting on this game. It had a few different tunes for different moods of what it was telling you. The graphics were pretty good for the time, and the standing images on the cards were a very nice effect for a game like this. There isn't much to say about the controls so let's just skip that.

Overall, its a nice game if ya know what its about, if not, just avoid it and stop trying to act like you know what you are talking about.
