A Great Start

User Rating: 8.5 | Syphon Filter: Combat Ops PSP
The game gets everything right overall through every aspect of the game. From presentation towards the control this PSP is worth the purchase, however that doesn't mean that there isn't any flaws. First thing I will mention is the presentation.

The presentation is nice and slick and navigating through the menues can be a breeze. You can navigate your friends list, towards the available games, towards the messages you received easily. It's just a kind of clone of the previous Syphon Filter games, Dark Mirror and Logan Shadow, but works well.

Graphics are as the same as usual, which means it's great! The nice crisp character models and environment shine on your mind. The game has havoc game physics which is a great for a PSP game.

Audio is probably the lowest point of the game as the only sound you will hear are guns, navigating the menu, and a new messaged appear in the chat room.

Controls are amazing as it takes what was from Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow and implement it in Combat Ops.

Gameplay is where it's at and the game succeeds its best in it. The game only contains 4 maps, but there are fully customizable, in a feature called Mission Modifier. This allows people to use their creative mind to change the objects in the map from spawns, barrels, weapons, to even weather condition.

This game probably will not satisfy you for long due to the average player count every night is around thirty. Since, there is only 4 maps, levels can tend to be repetitive. Hackers will likely ruin the experience (including myself, but not during ingame playtime). There a few of these gamebreakers as I know some and usually seem them play a game with their friends make new hacks to break the game. This game may not be reaching much potential, but it's a great for the price of $10, but you must order online at http://store.playstation.com/game/index.vm. P.S. sorry for wall of text.
