Although not as good as the first game, Syphon Filter 2 does offer some new features that make it worhtwhile to buy and play. First of all, the gameplay is nice. Lots of action with waves of terrorists coming at you, perfect settings like on a bridge on top of mountain, or right next to a propeller blade of a helicopter. The multiplayer is definitely something to take advantage of. With old characters like Antonn Girdeaux and maps like the DC Park Jungle Gym, it can be stressful but fun to play against 1-3 other people. With good sound and good attention to details, this game should have been better. But it wasn't. For starters, the game was a little easy to beat. No big challenges like the Catacombs in the first game. Some missions you must over and over however, because you can't be seen or spotted or kill anyone for a while, or for the whole mission. Yet, with all that said, Syphon Filter 2 makes it worthwhile to buy and play.
