Good fun, but not a classic...

Here is a game that is just plain old fun, even worth your time, but just trips at the end of the line...

Graphics: Not top of the line, but thats not needed for this kind of game...They are cute, cartoony and right on the money for what it is trying to achieve...

Sound: Some nice sound effects, voices and grunts and music gives the game the style it needs...Nothing more, nothing less really...

Gameplay: The gameplay is were it all comes down for me...Im a guy thats Gameplay over Graphics type, so I rather have nice gameplay then gorgeous graphics. This game does both good, but not extremely perfect. It gives you a base in which to build troops/research spells...The spells you cast with a controller, while the troops automatically walk out of the base to meet the enemy once created. It all works well until later in the game, when you have to cast a spell (like healing) in the middle of a franatic melee (once you and your enemy have made a few troops that meet in the centre) This system does not always work aswell because of the 2D style (and such, overlapping troops). Try to target your most wounded unit while its overlapped with a healthy one! But other then that, the simplified RTS gameplay (no base building, only gold and mana to worry about) and the 'no control' scheme when it comes to your units, make it a pleasant game to play if your into this sort of thing. The 2D environment needs a little getting used to and its not completely my style (i like 3d :P) but its fun none the less...The humor in the conversations is also well placed but a bit too obvious in some places in my opinion.

Conclusion: All in all, a nice game to spend your time on (especially if you are low on time...a mission takes on a average of 5 minutes!) and really something innovative (correct me if im wrong, but i havent seen the concept before) but it just falls short (because of a bad targeting system, and mostly my taste of not liking the 2d environment) of being a classic. If you like the idea presented here though, and you dont mind missing a spell here and there, you are going to have a blast...
