even if you are not familiar with the manga or anime it is still a good game to play you dont have to know everything about it to enjoy the game. the gameplay is awesome going around with a huge sword hack and slashing everyone and the blood effects are really ahead of its time not many games do it today and berserk dose it well. the game isnt to hard its a nice paced game with nice made out levels and the bosses can be a bit tricky. if they remade this game for the next gen consoles it would be amazing (if they did it write)
