A Wonderful Game! (With Minor Issues)

User Rating: 8 | Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment VITA

So many people may, (or may not) know, this game is a remaster of a PSP Game. Does that Limit it in any way? Absolutely not. This game was a wonderful revival and remaster of the PSP Predecessor which, many people did NOT get to play, largely due to the fact that it was only in Japanese.

Of Course the story is not a continuation or addition on the the previous Sword Art Online Story.

!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!

The story takes place at the ending of floor 75, or, episode 14 if you will. The ENTIRE scene of "Kirito" (Or your custom avatar) VS. Heathcliff is entirely redone in, the amazing, 3D Rendering they do so wonderfully. After "Kirito" defeats Heathcliff you anxiously await the ending of the game... And it never comes. The only thing that appears? The Gate... To Floor 76. So as the Frontliners you decide to press on!!

You enter into Floor 76 to discover luscious fields, towering city's and, above all else, A Skull Reaper. Worlds collide bringing you familiar, and not yet familiar, faces. These include but are not limited to Leafa, Sinon, and ... Umm. That's it... FOR NOW!

The gameplay itself is overall good with a few exceptions. There is a "First-Person Perspective" in the game. You can use this in any point in the game and is fairly decent. You are not going to get a dovahkiin perspective off of it, Mainly due to the fact of your swords are floating, No hands required.

Also I was not a fan of the fact that this game is (As far as we know) A Digital download only. I always like to have my copy of any game on hand. Just feels safer that way. Other than that there is nothing else I can say negative about this game other than the things everyone will experience first hand that's not just my opinion.

I would DEFINITELY put this game on your PsVita playlist. Wonderful Cast, Story, And Gameplay. (Did I mention first person mode?)
