The Single Greatest Golf Game Of All Time might seem a bit of hyperbole at first, but anyone who has played this game might take this moniker a bit more seriously. This game has everything to satisfy video-game lovers and golf lovers alike. Even golf purists will find something to enjoy in this game (this is a blatant lie: golf purists will probably hate this game). For old school gamers this game is most easily compared to Mario Golf 64, where for new school gamers I would compare this game to Tiger Woods 2000, but with chickens and golden mini-sailboats. However, this is precisely what separates this game from its predecessors and antecedents. Swing Away golf combines the golf game lover's desire for beautiful vistas, calming music, and tricky shots and combines them with the video-game lover's desire for RPG elements and colorful (albeit ridiculous) characters. One of the characters, in fact, is so strongly reminiscent of Lavar Burton that I feel he should be getting a royalty check. All in all I highly recommend this game to anyone who respects the value of a unknown game, and the thrill of a hidden treasure. Enjoy.
