- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 40 to 100 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "All it's cracked up to be"
The Good:
-Great multi-player setup for big LAN games.
-Good Graphics, especially on the water for the waves, sunken boats, etc...
-Very Balanced between UEF and Cybran. Aeon is only good for their Colossus.
-Nice smooth tactical command system. able to control units easily.
-Not too powerful experimental units because you can kill them well enough with weaker units.
-Good build times and good energy and mass consumptions.
-Very satisfying difficulty.
The Bad:
-Aircraft carriers don't have a unit limit.
-Air staging facilities hold too little units.
-Stratigic bombers are way too weak on every team.
-Long games make for hard on-line play.
-Sensors use up a ton of energy.
-The UEF Battleship is Way too over-powerful in its attack and range.
The campaign is very good and the end battles can be very large.
I like to play this game with my friend vs 2 supremes.
It is weird that the random should be better than the supreme though.
The Aeon are horrible unless you combine them with cybran, then they are the ultimate power. The Aeon Destroyers are just horrible how they have to charge up and only fire one medium powered shot. while Cybran has a destroyer that fires 2 medium-powered shot that fires much faster. As an added insult to Aeon, the cybran destroyer can go on land.
Overall I think that it is a Supreme game that is one of the best 3rd person stratigy games ever made. Especially considering that is was made it 2006.
