I was a fanatic about Total Annihilation. Hands down no better RTS on the planet. Great economy and build tree. I sooo looked forward to Supreme Commander. Not fully happy but it was a nice follow up with some good graphics. Enjoyable units. Forged Alliance just made it larger but not really better though it was nice to play the Seraphim. Who every developed SC2 should be taken out and shot then drug through the streets and shot again. They nerfed the units and parimeter defenses and just about everything else. You can't upgrade anything. Can't build walls or artillery. No real tactics. Now all one has to do to win is build as many units as possible and swarm the opponent. Instead of having terrain to deal with you now have avenues or lanes to defend. The tech tree is a joke. Waiting to get points so you can unlock something your units used to have is a pain. The graphics look cartoonish. They took a fulfilling RTS and made it into fast food. I am sooo glad I paid less then $20 for this.
