A Classic Indeed, But for all the wrong reasons, only "good" for the humorous bugs and glitches

I remember seeing a commercial for Superman 64 when I was 7 years old, I thought it looked awesome. Years later in a Game Informer magazine on a page looking back at years earlier, I saw in the year 1999 they listed, Worst Game of the Year: Superman 64, then I looked up online and figured out it is considered one of the worst games ever made. After getting a N64 last year for $40, this game, despite reviews, was one of the N64 games I wanted to get, just to see how bad it is. The game starts where Lex Luthor has trapped your friends in a virtual Metropolis, and it is up to Superman to save the day. Throughout the game, level 1 you have to fly through a bunch of rings (which Luthor calls a "Maze") to a certain part, then you have to lift these 2 cars in a poorly animated flat road from crashing into people. Then you have to fly through MORE rings, then at a certain point you have protect a police car from these poorly animated shadows and safely carry it to the other side of the road. The 2nd level you have to defuse bombs in the dam with Superman's "epic" ice breath. Then the next level MORE yes MORE rings. You pretty much get what Im saying, there are 14 levels total, and from what it appears you fly through rings in 7 of the levels I assume. Despite this game being total crap, it is still "fun". Mostly cause of the unintentionally humorous bugs and glitches, One time I was flying through the air and somehow I ended up flying upside down, in Lexcorp I some how fell through the floor into a totally black area and saw another in game model of Superman just standing around and not making any movement and then I stepped into some invisible water, it was a great laugh indeed. And from what it appears the only way to get people to talk to you (in levels with no rings) you have to PUNCH them, funny stuff right there. Now for the game, the graphics are breathtaking(ly bad) the sound is "epic" and the controls are simple(ly some of the worst ever). Now despite the laughs and "fun" this game can be, I only reccomend getting it to have the "fun" time with how laughably awful this game is, I got it at the flea market for $10. When it comes to Superman's weaknesses there is Kryptonite as well as video games..and rings. The Superman Video Game Curse has effected me and The Lord will never forgive me for this. Im sorry but I had to get this game. But anyway Superman 64 is a total masterpiece of a Video Game that many people will "love" for years to come. And p.s. never drink a beer while playing this game.
