Dan Chiappini is oiled up and loving it in a video review of Super Street Fighter IV.
One of the best fighting games around. It's complete with it's various options, replay, tournements, online theatre, trials, etc... The trials are really hard though, even SF veterans have some difficulties with them. The platinium is extra hard to get. I personally don't like Seth as the last boss, but it's my personal opinion. I found him to be lacking the charisma that Bison & Gill had in previous SF games. 09/10

I like this and the best part for me is that Akuma is there, my fav character since Street Fighter Alpha.
Just got this, and I can already say that Balrog is my go-to ass-kicker character. This game f*cking ROCKS!
@MEDzZ3RO:from ur comment before,the buttons are actually not that bad in this game. in ssf4,fights are usually the way u want to take it. U can sit there and button smash,or have a strategic style to ur play and plan ur attacks. THe controls are a little different in the sense that all goes smooth and well :)
MAN this looks like areally cool game. And in street fighter cross tekken its tekken who needs street fighter. not the other way round
@zo70 Really?,yet last I checked over 3million sales was a good thing.Also,it managed to ship the majority of that (2.5million) within 1st week.Same as Soul Calibur IV and Street Fighter IV managed to ship 2million shortly after release. None of those figures are anything that justifies your "it can't sell" title.Perhaps it's worth pointing out that the Tekken franchise has sold 35 million units whereas the Street Fighter franchise is at 29 million units. Both Street Fighter and Tekken are at the top of the genre and have been for the last 10 years.
@nurjra No way!,MK vs DC is probably the worst Mortal Combat there has ever been.The new one however,Mortal Combat 2011,will be alot better then this and Marvel VS Capcom 3. By the way,can anyone owning this game tell me what the controls are like?;the controls on Streetfighter II Turbo HD are terrible and that would be the only thing that puts me off this game.
but yaaaa...if u dont even like this game..then dont bother watching it. I mean if you guys are going to complain on how hard this game is, go complain somewhere else. My nine year old brother can beat this on medium difficulty the least!!!
While I am a street fighter fan, this review didn't help much. The reviewer tone was so dull. Sorry Dan, better have more ups and downs in your tone or you will have your audience fall asleep.
I have this game...and i love it!One of the best games out there! i dont see why people hate this game. Just because some of u guys cant beat it on easy,doesnt mean the game is hard....u just need more skill!
@ Legojake94 After this all time since I made that coment I'm starting to get used to the game. At least I control very well characters with a fighting style like Ryu and that's something, though some combos seem impossible to do. So don't worry if you hate it first cause the key measure to achieve success in SF is nothing more but time (some godamn pacience too).
@keyboard-hero i tried the PS3 demo in walmart, and all i could do was kick... i don't know, for life life of me, how to GRAB anyone... and the moves list doesnt help with all these symbols everywhere that i dont know what they mean... but hell its so fun! even if EVERY button on my controller is a punch\kick button.. :P

Already played this game, and I can say it's very hard trying to master most combos of every character, and that makes me frustated every time I play SSF 4. The weirdest thing is that there's something in the game that makes me want to like it (which confuses me). I guess I'm just to used to play accessable games like shooters.
I played SSF4: a fun fighter for sure! If you have the 1st SF4, don't get rid of it: keep it, because some of the characters storylines from that game, actually continue in SSF4. Get both games!
@ShAbInAtOr it really depends. do you want more fighters to play with and more moves. or just a good fighting game.
I still have the old old old street fighter game on my 360! I don't know why i should buy this one!
lets face it for the true fans of SF Sf4 its gorgeus and good but will never have the same amazing gameplay of SF3 third strike, because it dont have parry and focus attack can just hold 1 attack no more. for inexperienced players this game will result fun but for intermediate to pros parry is a way to hold your opponent; lets face it... air is disastrous in SF4 you cant cover or parry besides spamming fireballs and throws are annoying. it is great that SF get back all clasic and popular characters but CAPCOM WE NEED AGAIN PARRY if you need proves see SF3 finals and SF4 finals and judge by yourself what game hold best gameplay...
ok..... for the people who ALREADY own SFIV. dont you just feel like its a bit of a rip off. i love street fighter (used to play SF2 on the arcades after school).... but dont you think.... Super Street Fighter 4 is what we expected SFIV to be in the first place. although we were presented with the game and loved it..... in hindsight we can see that... well... for all we know... they were holding back? like someone said earlier.... the bonus levels... the barrels and the car... for those that know street Fighter... we were expecting this frm before. i dont doubt super Street Fighter is cool. but for those are are TRUE street fighter fans from the earlier games.... they'd know capcom pulled a fast one (...and i'm sure they had these characters ready frm before but rushed the release of SFIV). sorry. but thats my opinion. we in a recession. hello??
just cant bring myself to fork up the money to buy this game. i have SFIV already and just feel i been short changed and its not worth it. oh well... i'm still hooked on tekken 6 and will make do with SFIV unless i see this game going as a preowned game so i can get it cheaper. looking forward to Marvel vs Capcom 3 tho.

ahoberer78: Gee, how about Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4, 5, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Devil May Cry, Dead Rising... the list goes on. I'm sorry but you are the one who's out of his league. There's a reason why there is a Super Street Fighter IV and that's because many fans demanded it. They contributed as much to the project as the developers, so say again that SF is past it's 'prime'. Moron.
balanced my ass...ryu can immediately do a shroyuken after firing his fireball this time around so vs him is a pain in the ass. loving the online play though. ibuki kicks ass!
I'm sorry, but I think capcom is way out of it's league. I have yet to play a capcom game that was good...maybe way back in the day they were good, but not anymore. Street Fighter has passed it's prime...quit making them over and over, they all suck and this review and score is major BS!
love the game, it was one of the fighting game if ever played and it was in an arcade. still the coolest caracters around. dont need girls whit big boobies to have a great game.
