If you own a PS3 or Xbox 360, just buy the game there. This version is riddled with odd controls and pointless features.

User Rating: 5.5 | Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition 3DS
For this to be a 3DS Launch title you would think that it would be worth it but it is not. Not only does the 3DS itself feel odd with the game, but the controls to make up for that called the Lite controls, literally break the game.

Graphics, Sound, Content: As this is the only good thing about the game I'm adding it all in one as i will be pretty short. The Graphics are near console worthy and shows off the power of the 3DS nicely. The sounds are directly from the console version and that is also a very big plus to the title. The content added makes you feel the money you spent was well worth it as you get a lot of the console game modes, and the extra costumes added to the game already. But now we go into why this game is bad.

Controls & Online Play: Terrible. Being as street fighter is a 6 button fighter this means you have to use the oddly placed L and R buttons which can be really hard since the Ultra combos are used by pressing all 3 Punch or all 3 Kick buttons. The lack of buttons make this a fail for this game without light controls. The Lite controls are buttons added to the touch screen to instantly pull off the assigned move. This sounds great if it was abused to continuously tap on to fire hadoukens or even worse, sonic booms. It completely breaks the point of using a charge character. While you can get rid of fighting people who use lite buttons, it makes it that much harder for you to use moves that are made hard to do on this odd system. Blocking is hard mainly because the analog stick doesn't always register that you are holding the diagonals for crouching blocks. Online is generally Guile or E. honda spamming headbutts and sonic booms and if you are really unlucky they will find some one to hit you with an impossible combo by USING the lite control set up to instantly activate a move that isn't suppose to hit because you are SUPPOSE to charge it. Charges are made for a reason and playing this will let you know why. The net code however for people you play is great. The matches are not laggy at all and everything is precise. But this doesn't matter if everything else feels off.

Overall: Don't buy this. If you absolutely have to, buy it when it drops below 10 dollars because for the issues this game causes because of it being on the 3DS you would rather not spend more money than needed I say. Good attempt but falls hard of the standard.
