A veteran of the fighting game genre but new to Street Fighter, initial reactions arn't particularly overwhelming.

User Rating: 8 | Super Street Fighter IV X360
Gameplay: 8/10
Graphics: 10/10
Replayability: 6/10
Learning Curve: For the new people such as my self, this game is intensely difficult to master, pretty much a good week or so for a new player.

Pros:

- The graphics and art are simply outstanding, the way the characters are intricately designed and the flashy imaging used in the opening trailer and even the victory pose screen
- Expansive roster of fighters, almost all unique in their own way (other than Sakura, she's basically a weaker Ryu)
- Arcade style gameplay, for an exaggerated yet epic looking stand off
- Deep move system, and the ultra attacks look stunning

Cons:

- For a new player, this game is utterly unforgiving and until you have the controls sorted, you won't be changing the difficult off of Easiest.
- Since this game was built for the arcade control scheme, not being proficient in this control format can hinder your progress a lot
- The fighting seems hollow, with other fighters it feels more like you are actually fighting, this seems more like a flailing tunafish trying to slap it's way out of a fishtank.

The Verdict:

I can see why they made it, I can see why the veterans enjoy it, unfortunately this simply isn't my cup of tea as a newbie to this franchise, who prefers a more refined and less exaggerated fighting experience. I am by no means slagging this game off, but if I find it difficult, so will the rest of the world.
