Superb Return of the Jedi

This is the third star wars platformer on the SNES, based on the third movie in the trilogy. I was happy to come across this game, i had some trouble finding it, so when i played it, the days of the SNES had already gone. I still enjoyed this game very much. There were practically no good 2d platformers on the nintendo 64. The games graphics are very nice, better then super star wars and empire strikes back. It plays a lot like those games, meaning that you are running basically from left to right, shooting enemies and jumping to platforms. Occasionally you'll be handling a vehicle. This time around you can play as Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker and princess Leia. Like the movie you'll have to free Han Solo from Jabba the Hut and defeat the evil empire. Luke still has his force-powers, but he lost the levitation power because of gameplay reasons, Chewie has more Stamina and Leia is quicker. At the beginning of each level you get to choose who you want to play with. It's a superb game and a fitting end to the trilogy. It great to defeat the emperor in 2d. This game deserves a re-release on the virtual console or nintendo DS since it's still one of the best star wars games.
