As the guys at G4 said at E3 '06 Live, "Where else but in your wildest dreams do characters like Donkey Kong and Mario get to pound the cute out of a Pokemon?" Of course, it could be the other way around, but you get my point. This is a game that's hard to get tired of. I've had it since 2003, and I still play it quite a lot. There's plenty to unlock, like characters such as Luigi, Marth, and even the star of the classic Game & Watch games himself, Mr. Game & Watch! You can also unlock trophies, which have characters of Nintendo's past, from NES add-ons to Animal Crossing characters, collecting all trophies is a task well worth it. Hell, you even got cool stages. From the top of Peach's castle to the totally flat world of the Game & Watch, you just can't play each level just once. And it's the return of Break The Targets. Now, you're just not playing for a character, but now you can unlock new stuff by completing this mode with a quick enough time. You have 4 other modes. Classic mode, where you face off against a random character, a random team of 2 characters, a random giant character, a random team of weak characters, a random metal character, and even the big boss "man" himself, Master Hand. And a few bonus rounds, too. Adventure mode, where you clear each stage 1 at a time, some of which you don't fight anyone. There are 2 others, but I won't ruin that much.
Anyway, this is a game you'll never get sick of.
