One of the best fighting games of all time, Super Smash Bros Melee is a must have for Gamecube owners.
Super Smash Bros Melee contains a ton of modes to choose from. You can play the standard versus mode, however this time around there are so many options for you to choose. You can turn items on and off, play with large characters, small characters, fast characters, and so many more. You can also choose if you want to play a timed battle, stock battle, coin battle, stamina battles, the list goes on and on. I'll just say, you'll never run out of combinations of modes to make this game feel unique every time you play.
As well as the numerous multiplayer modes Melee also offers more than enough single player modes for you to explore. You can participate in the Classic smash mode, Adventure mode, Home Run contests, break the targets, and a few others. The single player modes are fun if you don't have other people to play with, however Versus mode is where you will be spending the majority of your time.
Melee offers 26 characters and 29 stages for you to play with (Many have to be unlocked as you play through the game). Each character has its own set of moves which allow you to specialize with one character, or to mix it up and be well rounded with each and every individual character. All of the levels are unique and have their own unique characteristics that makes them all feel fresh and new.
As you play Melee you will be unlocking new characters, new stages, and trophies to add to your collection. Trophies are a small reward that you gain for playing the game, and give you an incentive to keep playing to earn every trophy available in the game.
