This game immerses you in a great battle experience and is one of the greatest games that I've ever played. All of your favorites from other Nintendo games have come back and are ready for battle. There is a variety of modes that you can play, including Tiny Melee, Invisible Melee, Tournament Melee, and even Home-Run Contest.

Every character has a special move, some of them from previous games that they were in. For example, Mario had his classic Fireball, and Link has his Master Sword. Also, every character has a recovery move, so that they can jump back up if they were to fall off of the stage.

Also, if you don't want to just battle alone, you can add up to 3 more players, and even team up! In 1 player mode, there is a Classic and Adventure Mode, each with their own storyline. You can unlock characters and levels for battle.

This game's controls are close to perfect, which is rare for many games.

Super Smash Bros. Melee gets a rating of 9.5 out of a possible 10. This game is very deserving of its rating.
