A great game for party's but not a whole lot of single player

User Rating: 9 | Super Smash Bros. Brawl WII
the good: loads of characters lots of different ways to play the story actually exists this time round lots of maps to play on
Online feature is great final smashes are wickedly cool wacky out of this world bosses

The bad: not a whole lot to do once everything is unlocked certain characters feel the same some kills can feel cheap

here is a solid game and easily one of, if not the best game for wii in brawl you can chose from one of a dozen or so characters to play as and then begin unlocking dozens of more characters to play as. this is side scroll gaming at its peak

the single player is a blast and will unlock almost all the characters, there is story mode which plays like a campaign, classic mode which is pretty much a tournament and event mode where you play one round with special rules all together this results in a good 25-40 hours or game play, and then your done. what I mean by this? replay value is almost non existent with the only reason to play through is to get characters, coins, and bonus boxes which don't really do anything

but although you wont want to come back for single player brawl is a must for any party of up to four friends online or local with quite a bit of customization as far as rules go from being giant and slow to being made of metal and fast, you can also go online bet coins on who will win matches

speaking of coins they are rather useless you use them in the coin blaster which is a blast (pun intended) but doesn't earn you much other then trophies to stare at and stickers that barely affect story mode, coins are also too easy to get as one play through campaign gives you more then you will ever use

despite all this brawl is a great value for any wii owner and a must have for all serous gamers
