Out of all the SRW games so far on GBA, this is the best damn one.

I have been and will always be a fan of Super Robot Wars. Ever since I bought the last few, I have fallen in love with the turn base strategy games that allows you to be able to fight enemies with your favourites.

This is one of the first and last. The last of the GBA games but the first game to incorporate a new innovative system. It has a new combo technique which not only applies to players but also the enemies. While in previous games you have a support attack and defence which applies to both. The combo attack is actually attacking more than one unit in a straight line with a single attack. But that depends on the character's combo level.

It also integrates from SRW OG and pilot points system. But this is to improve stats. You can only gain a point per level. So you have to allocate wisely.

Also the game has actually become a lot more difficult than its predecessors. But I wouldn't want it any other way. Same again as I have covered in my last few SRW reviews usual affair.

I definitely love the character selection for male or female characters and I definitely love the robot designs from real to super robots. It also incorporates a favourite robot system where at first you pick a few of your favourite series for extra bonuses.

Eventually after a few more completed playthroughs you'll be able to unlock all of it.
This actually proves to be a very good incentive to have. In choosing your favourite series, you unlock their upgrade level limits to its maximum and characters can earn a bit extra cash than the non selected.

The visuals are actually a lot more amazing, the battle animations are actually stunning for a GBA game. Yes I did choose a female protagonist being a mecha/gaming fan girl and femi-nazi. I just found the bouncing breasts quite amusing; no matter how wrong or how it seem to glorify women as sex objects blah,blah... Before you say anything, I'm actually interested in guys. But nonetheless a nice animation. And being able to choose your co-pilot is a better way to use their different abilities into the battle.

All in all, this is the best damn game ever!
