Definitely a classic and must buy for any fan of puzzle or Street Fighter games!
For a game that's a decade old , it still packs a punch. In SPFII Turbo , there are 8 playable characters (as well as three unlockable characters). The mechanics are like this : there are block pieces that you have to place together (consisting of four colours: red , blue , yellow , and green). The more blocks you put together , the more points and damage your opponent recieves. There are block breakers (which consist of the same colours: red , blue , yellow, and green ) which you could use to destroy your blocks. You could also be creative , stack different colour blocks and create combos and more damage.
There is of course a purpose for choosing a character . When you inflict damage, you drop a certain block pattern to throw off your opponent or perhaps eff up his/her strategy. Like for example: Dan drops only red blocks whenever he inflicts damage. Which means if you're fast enough and creative to build bigger and more destructive blocks , you could finish off your opponent easily (but that's if he/she doesn't get a red block breaker or a special diamond which can destroy any certain block colour of your choosing).
The soundtrack is stellar and it also features the original arcade tracks as well as sound tests. Also in SPFII Turbo , there is a mode called : Master Puzzle Mode which allows you to unlock costumes , characters , sound/voice tests for certain characters , and more modes by completing challenges.
In the end , Super Puzzle Fighter II isn't just only a must buy but it should be in every wishlist. ^_^@! > 10/10 : It's effing addictive >_>!

The cheapest I've seen this game for was 40 dollars used.
