Super Paper Mario is probably my favorite one in the series!

Super Paper Mario is a 2D-3D Side-Scroller/Platformer/RPG hybrid that comes from the Paper Mario series. This game is just plain fun and to me the most accessible out of the series. Don't get me wrong Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door is an amazing game but if your not a turn based fan or even a Mario&Luigi:Partners in Time fan you probably wont be able to get into it. Super Paper Mario, However is not truly a full RPG like the previous Paper Mario installments, But more like the old school Mario Bros games with the traditional jumping and the main goal being to reach the very end. Their is RPG elements in the game,which gives it a more interesting game play to get ready to enjoy. Your Mario and your trying to help this cartoon fairy called a Pixl get her memory back and find your friends along the way. As time goes on you get more Pixl's to help you with different abilities to get through the levels. Some give you extra strength and others give you barriers for an all around perfect defense. Also as you progress through the game you get to play as other characters(Luigi,Princess Peach, Bowser) and the best part about it is it could be at any given time but you also need them to progress through levels so knowing when to use each character is key. The main attraction has to be the ability to transfer from a 2D realm a to a 3D realm to find secrets and hidden clues to advance. There is a time limit and when it drops you must switch back immediately or you will soon see your health drop. The sound is wonderful with it's catchy tunes as you go through different worlds and the art is very pleasing to the eye even though their paper models. The clever story and the fantastic game play gives this game the charm that is expected from the Paper Mario series and will provide you with hours of entertainment. Super Paper Mario certainly doesn't disappoint and anybody whose a fan of the Paper Mario series should not miss this.
