OK.. to be honest.. this game is the best game ive ever playd in my entire life^^ one must have
In SM, your adventures take place on a planet dubbed Zebes. It's open ended in the way that many different areas are connected by elevators and doors, thus making moving from one area to the next relitevly simple.
The story is memorable, but I really didn't pay too much attetntion due to the amazing, amazing action and gameplay. On the SNES, this will rank probably within the top ten for FUNNEST GAMES EVER.
The areas are fun, colorful and vibrant and truly make the gane come alive. The controls are simple, and if you played any of the previous games (I'd reccomend Metroid II: Return of Samus), you'll feel right at home. This game sets itself apart from previous Metroid titles with the introduction of the "moonwalk" (named after the move made famous by Micheal Jackson), in which you can now walk backwards and shoot.
The boss fights are probably the funnest thing there is about this game, especially the last one where you fight Mother Brain. Upon completing the game, I had to play through it another time. IT"S JUST THAT GREAT.
10/10 I'd reccomend it for anyone. If you have a Wii, you have to get this game, but I'd suggest you play it the way I did (on the SNES) to fell like a true old-school gamer.
