Enjoyable game but highly overrated

I have always been a fan of difficult games, forever finding myself frustrated at the video games gradually becoming more casual in nature. However although this game appealed to the side of me that enjoys a challenge, I cannot help but feel that this game is massively overrated.

There really isn't much too it besides it being a difficult game, it is extremely one dimensional, to the extent that I had stopped playing after an hour when I originally bought the game. It is only recently that I've picked the game up again, and while I can say my initial impressions of the game were a tad harsh the games flaws are still obvious to me.

A lot of the games difficulty comes from trial and error, which can make it pretty frustrating to play through the same parts of a level numerous times, especially when you get to the point when you can clear them with ease, it just feels like an unnecessary waste of time this was significantly more prominent in the latter levels.

Something that annoyed me personally was that every time I started up the game I would be presented with the developers obnoxious opinion telling me that keyboards were inferior to game-pads. In reality I soon realized that this did hold some truth in this game as holding down the shift key to run really started to put a strain on my finger after a while. However I believe the developer is the one at fault here for not allowing the player to easily customize his controls in game. Instead you are forced to go editing text files if you wish to change the controls, something that didn't even work for me.

In conclusion this game is a nice time killer, I would even go as far as to call it a good game, however by no means is it great at least in my opinion.
