Not as good as the first SMW, but hey, it's still pretty good, and has one of the greatest final boss songs of all time.

Yes, the green dinosaur makes his third appearance. Third? What about his second? I dunno which one came first, but either right before or after SMW, came Yoshi, the game on the NES, which is basically just another rip-off of Tetris that's just a bit different from everything else.

For once, the final boss is harder than anything else in the game! Again, like in many other classic Mario titles, eight worlds, each with a boss at the end. There aren't many power-ups. Basically, the enemies are the power-ups, because those are where you get the eggs from. Listening to Baby Mario's whining every time you get hit is very annoying. It's fine, just like most of the side-scrolling Mario games, except it's a side-scrolling Yoshi game. Graphics are not as good as the other classic Mario titles. They're a little more cartoony than the rest. Everything moves smoothly, but it's not as visually appealing.

Music is basically just like any of the other games, that is until the final boss. This is quite possibly, the greatest final boss song ever made. Ehhhhh, okay Baten Kaitos 1's 2nd to final boss music takes the cake. Nothing beats that. Still, this was so great. A rock track on an SNES Mario title. Classic.

Since gameplay is the same as the others, but just shorter, it's not going to be as valueable as the others.

Overall, not the greatest Mario game, but it's still very good, and this did inspire one of my other favorite SNES titles, Tetris Attack. Unfortunately, that game is really short. But more on that later. Anyway, this game is another must have on SNES for anyone who loves the dinosaur that shows many colors.....and Mario.
