Super Mario Sunshine's levels are entertaining, but too short.

Super Mario Sunshine is a game that is fun, the first time around. Beat the game, and there's no side-quests or anything, unless you want to find all the coins in the game, then be my guest. Erasing your game and starting a new one sort of works, but you know exactly what is going to happen next. The mini-levels that you find inside cave and such are challenging any time, but sometimes too hard. The first time, and ONLY the first time you play these mini-levels, Shadow Mario, the main villain of the game, takes your water-squirter, and you play the level like regular, old, Super Mario! Come back, and Shadow Mario has run away and you can do the level with your squirter, you can also do the red coin game inside of the cave for another Shine Sprite, adding to your total to beat the game. In the beginning of the game, the hub is dark without the Shine Sprites, progress in the game, and it starts to brighten a little, until at the end, it is a perfect island paradise! The bosses are relatively simple to defeat and do not change their tactics too much if you face them again.
Overall, Super Mario Sunshine is a great game, just try not to play it in too close together sessions.
