They did a good job with the game, but the theme was older.

This game, though really was good, was a sign of laziness for Nintendo. They just brought back the game style from Super Mario 64. The only thing they added was a water theme. Every world was a water world. There were only two worlds that lacked water. It got repetitive. It starts out when Mario and Peach are going on vacation to Isle DelFino. When they land at the airstrip. They see a weird substance that is inactive. Mario then finds F.L.U.D.D a tool made by Prof. E Gadd. He cleans it only to find it is trying to kill you. You are blamed for the substance being all over the island and there sub island. That is when Shadow Mario is introduced. You can't leave until you clean the island. Now you are probably asking, how is that from SM64? Well you also have got to recover all the Shine Sprites (Sun Stars). Later in the game it looses the little creativeness, to where the island is clean and the only thing you need to do is get the Sprites. Instead of going through paintings though, you go through graffiti. The game isn't very creative. Yes, Super Mario Galaxy is that way. But it isn't and offers costumes. This doesn't. You get 5 F.L.U.D.D modes and Yoshi, who barely helps at all. Aside from that, the game is hard and makes you walk around for two thousand hours. Jump off a toilet into the ceiling. Yeah that is real obvious. Final Words: Rent it and if you like it, get it. That is all I can say.
