Fun game, full of action and rough gameplay.
You can choose between about 8 team captains and among 4 sidekicks to make up your gang of soccer rebels. Each team captain has a certain "power strike" that can be used once you complete a land that arrow in the yellow zone mini-game while on the field. All the characters in the game are returning characters to the Mario franchise meaning most characters will be familiar faces.
The multiplayer aspect is simply a fun split screen game in which you and up to 4(?) friends can play against each other (2v2 along with the additional sidekicks). The upset is that the only mode of play is a simple game of no rules soccer without any additional modes or even mini-games for multiplayer.
Super Mario Strikers makes the Mario sports titles enjoyable once again. It turned out pretty decent for a Mario sports title. Mario Strikers contains many tournaments making you come back for more every time.
If you got kids who want something entertaining to keep them occupied , then buying this game would be a sure steal, or even if your causal gamer looking for a pick up and play game, try this out!
