If you don't have this game, you don't have an SNES.

User Rating: 9 | Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars SNES
This game is easily one of the most unexpected treasures on the SNES. At first, I thought, "Mario in a turn-based game?" But god, was I wrong!

Graphics: The graphics look great, though sometimes it's a little challenging to land on a platform, due to the fact that it's a 2D overhead, with a weird angle. 8/10

Difficulty: The game can be pretty challenging, if you just skip all of the enemies. Which is why it's good to fight as many enemies as possible, so you can level up. Bosses are challenging, but not so much, that you want to turn off the game. 10/10

Story: The story goes like this. Princess Peach has been kidnapped by... GUESS WHO!? Bowser! Mario rushes to the castle to fight Bowser and save the Princess. But, as soon as Mario defeats Bowser, and attempts to rescue Peach, a giant earthquake shakes the castle and somehow launches Mario over to his house! Mario attempts to return to the castle, only to find that a giant sword has plunged into Bowser's castle, that claims that Bowser's castle is his. He then screams, or something and destroys the bridge to Bowser's castle. Mario's adventure begin's from there. 10/10

Controls: As I've mentioned earlier, sometimes jumps can be hard to land. Other than that, the controls work very well, and you aren't likely to get too frustrated with them. 9/10

Overall, this has got to be one of the best games on the SNES. But if you can't find one, that's alright if you have a Classic or Gamecube controller, and a Wii, because it's on the Virtual Console. Super Mario RPG gets a... 9/10. Square and Nintendo need to colaborate more often!

Good and Bad:

+Fun to just fight enemies
+Great Boss Fights
+Weapons actually show differences in the damage they do
+The turn system works really well
-Camera angle can sometimes get in the way of jumping.
-Boss fights can be brutal, if you're level isn't high enough
